About the Role
You will own construction execution across all active and future campus phases. You will lead senior construction managers, coordinate delivery across phases, oversee contractors, control schedules and costs, integrate owner-furnished equipment, lead commissioning and turnover, enforce safety and quality standards, and report risks and forecasts to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience delivering large-scale mission-critical projects.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple project leaders or concurrent projects.
- Experience leading multi-phase or campus-scale developments.
- Understanding of construction delivery models, including GMP, risk management, and contractor oversight.
- Technical fluency across MEP, commissioning, civil, and structural systems.
- Experience managing owner-furnished equipment integration and commissioning.
- Cost control, change management, and schedule-analysis expertise.
- Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and SharePoint.
- Full-time on-site presence at Helios in Afton, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop on-site construction leaders across active and future campus phases.
- Provide integrated oversight of construction delivery across all campus phases.
- Own the campus master schedule and direct recovery and mitigation plans.
- Set and enforce campus safety standards with EHS and contractor safety leadership.
- Manage relationships with general contractors and trade partners.
- Oversee pay applications, change orders, forecasts, budget tracking, and change management.
- Coordinate owner-furnished equipment procurement, logistics, installation, and schedule integration.
- Lead commissioning, closeout, and turnover to operations.
- Establish and enforce QA/QC standards and resolve systemic quality issues.
- Drive modularization, prefabrication, lean delivery, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate with authorities, inspectors, utilities, and consultants on compliance and permits.
- Report campus status, risks, and forecasts to executive leadership.
