About the Role
You will provide legal counsel on decentralized finance, staking, validation, tokenization, compliance, commercial transactions, and governance. You will draft and negotiate digital-asset agreements, identify and mitigate legal risks, manage outside counsel, advise on regulatory developments, and support corporate projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of transactional experience at top-tier law firms or crypto-focused companies
- Knowledge of blockchain
- Understanding of staking, validation, and decentralized-finance protocols
- Experience negotiating digital-asset agreements
- Critical thinking

- Member in good standing of the New York State Bar
Responsibilities
- Advise on OnChain and decentralized-finance legal negotiations involving staking, validation, and tokenization
- Draft, review, and negotiate token purchase, staking, validation, token liquidity, and token grant agreements
- Provide legal guidance on decentralized-finance and cryptocurrency regulations
- Identify and mitigate legal risks
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business functions on legal compliance
- Manage outside counsel engagements
- Draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements
- Address intellectual property, data privacy, and governance matters
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies
- Manage legal workflow in a dynamic environment
- Support special corporate projects
