About the Role
You will help deliver and grow an enterprise data platform focused on unstructured data capabilities. You will define product vision and execution strategy, manage the product lifecycle, gather user requirements, prioritize development work, improve user experience, support adoption, measure performance, and mentor product managers. You will work in a hybrid arrangement with at least four days in the office each week and one day working from home.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in product management.
- Experience developing cloud-based data platforms or Platform-as-a-Service products preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in at least two relevant product areas including data engineering at scale, unstructured or multimodal data pipelines, machine learning data preparation, or data integration with AI developer platforms.
- Ability to engage credibly with technical audiences working with unstructured data.
- Experience working in globally distributed product management and engineering teams.
- Record of leading product development in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience defining and developing commercial products and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence technical and business partners.
- Experience with global cross-functional teams in a scaled agile environment.
- Experience using product management tools such as Aha, Miro, Visio, Microsoft ADO, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in AI quality and lifecycle, retrieval and search, data governance and quality, LLM Ops or AI Ops, or platform reliability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Establish and articulate a strategic roadmap for assigned platform capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through delivery.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and support testing activities.
- Collaborate with adopters, engineers, business analysts, and other partners to gather requirements and prioritize work.
- Monitor industry trends, market offerings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Champion a user-centric and intuitive experience for platform adopters and their customers.
- Promote platform adoption through training, documentation, support, and advocacy.
- Establish performance indicators and metrics to measure delivered business value.
- Mentor product managers and improve team operating practices.
