About the Role
You will serve as the first line of defense for hardware, software, and deployment issues across the robot fleet. You will isolate and reproduce problems, collect logs and telemetry, route incidents to the appropriate team, document findings, and identify recurring incident trends.
Requirements
- Hands-on debugging experience with robotics, electronics, or embedded hardware
- Ability to read logs and telemetry and produce actionable diagnoses
- Clear written communication
- Ability to prioritize competing and ambiguous issues
- Ability to leverage AI to enhance productivity
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and characterize incoming hardware, software, and deployment issues
- Route fleet issues using a structured taxonomy
- Capture issues with eval, teleoperation, and engineering teams
- Investigate incidents using logs, telemetry, and prior tickets
- Document reproducible findings for engineering handoff
- Improve triage documentation, tooling, workflows, and ticket taxonomy
- Track incident trends and flag recurring patterns
