About the Role
You will oversee fiat, stablecoin, and DirectMint transaction flows, making sure transactions are processed within SLA while handling pending, failed, blocked, and compliance-reviewed cases. You will investigate failed payments, settlement delays, missing deposits, rejected withdrawals, and reconciliation breaks, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions. You will liaise with banking and payment partners on fund movements, returned payments, SWIFT investigations, and settlement discrepancies. You will manage daily reconciliations, handle refunds, reversals, and fund returns, and maintain controls that mitigate operational and financial risks. You will monitor dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics, escalating critical issues and driving timely resolution. You will also identify workflow inefficiencies, enhance SOPs, support automation initiatives, UAT testing, and readiness for new products, while providing guidance and escalation support to the Transaction Operations team and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Customer Support, Treasury, and banking partners.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of payment rails, settlement processes, transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation across banking and fintech environments
- Familiarity with payment screening, sanctions controls, operational risk management, and banking operational procedures
- Proven ability to investigate operational issues, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolutions
- Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced operational environment
- Background in Transaction Operations, Banking Operations, Fintech Operations, Treasury Operations, or Settlement Operations
- Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, crypto payment flows, operational automation, and monitoring workflows
- Proficiency with operational monitoring tools, Jira, Slack, Google Sheets, and basic operational data analysis
Responsibilities
