About the Role
You will support client bookings and reporting for equities trading across Asia Pacific. You will help manage trade clearance, settlement, and reconciliation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure accurate records and timely settlements, and work with engineers to automate and strengthen operations workflows.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate status or up to 2 years of experience in finance back-office functions
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work early shift hours in the Sydney timezone
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail and a customer-service attitude
Responsibilities
- Support client bookings and reporting for equities trading across Asia Pacific
- Manage the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions
- Collaborate with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and customers to ensure timely trade settlement
- Ensure the accuracy of books and records and help avoid unanticipated risk
- Work with software engineers to automate and improve operations workflows
- Represent the firm when dealing directly with external parties
