About the Role

You will install, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot proprietary systems in a production trading environment. You will support trading applications across desktop and server environments, manage software releases, automate operational workflows, build secure pipelines, scale monitoring tools, and respond to critical incidents. You will also maintain your understanding of the architecture and adapt to system updates.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Linux experience
  • Strong command-line navigation skills
  • Experience with Linux automation tools
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Proficiency with Bash
  • Knowledge of database structures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships across global offices
  • Sound decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • On-call availability outside core business hours or on weekends
  • A STEM bachelor's, master's, or PhD is preferred
  • Financial markets experience and knowledge of equity and derivative markets are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-office support to trading teams using proprietary trading systems
  • Troubleshoot critical issues alongside development, trading, and infrastructure functions
  • Own the release process for reliable trading software upgrades
  • Configure and manage production trading applications across desktop and server environments
  • Automate workflows and repetitive tasks
  • Build safe and secure pipelines for operational and system changes
  • Scale monitoring tools to improve live-environment visibility
  • Master proprietary architecture and adapt to updates
  • Support evolving software and system architecture
