About the Role
You will implement maintain and support scalable multi-tenant cloud infrastructure. You will apply security practices automate testing ensure fault tolerance and reliability and identify and prevent technology bottlenecks and service issues. You will also work with Linux AWS networking containerization orchestration scripting and infrastructure automation.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
- More than 3 years of experience in DevOps or software development
- Systems administration experience mainly with Ubuntu Linux
- Experience designing and maintaining production cloud solutions such as AWS
- Knowledge of networking web security mechanisms and containerization
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
- Scripting skills with Python 3 strongly preferred
- Experience with scalable highly available and fault-tolerant architectures
- Professional working proficiency and communication skills in written and spoken English
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems such as Jenkins 2 Travis or GoCD
- Experience planning and deploying complex architectures with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience automating software provisioning across multiple machines with tools such as Puppet Chef or Ansible
- Knowledge of monitoring methodologies and tools such as Nagios or Prometheus
- Knowledge of scalability principles and autoscaling methodologies
- Systems administration skills on macOS
