About the Role
You will develop and operate the tool control program, manage tool rooms and issue points, maintain documentation, oversee calibration, and investigate discrepancies. You will train technicians, coordinate procurement and repairs, report program metrics, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Inventory Clerk experience with ERP
- At least 1 year of Inventory Clerk or similar experience
- Ability to work 9am–5pm or 10am–6pm
- Math and analytical skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet software
- Problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the tool control program
- Lead daily tool room and tool issue point operations
- Maintain tool control documentation
- Manage the tool calibration program
- Conduct tool audits, inspections, and discrepancy investigations
- Train technicians on tool control standards and safety expectations
- Coordinate with production, quality, safety, supply chain, and engineering
- Manage tool procurement, calibration, repairs, and replacement planning
- Report tool control metrics and compliance findings
- Improve tool control processes and workflows
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FAA, DoD, and internal standards
