About the Role
You will lead daily thermal lab operations and build, validate, and maintain test setups for thermal assemblies. You will develop test plans, run testing, review data quality, maintain automation tools, coordinate priorities, guide technicians, and support cooling-loop, CDU, rack, and lab buildout activities.
Requirements
- Relevant technical education or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience testing single-phase liquid-cooled assemblies
- Experience with flowmeters, thermocouples, pressure transducers, chillers, and liquid-cooling test equipment
- Ability to independently build and troubleshoot test setups and document results
- Working knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow
- Experience developing and validating test automation and data-analysis workflows
- Experience coordinating testing priorities and directing technicians
- Organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day thermal lab operations, including test benches, equipment, and consumables inventory
- Develop test plans and procedures with thermal engineering
- Own test setup, instrumentation, execution, data-quality review, and reporting
- Develop and validate automation tools for test execution, data acquisition, and analysis
- Coordinate testing requests, priorities, equipment capacity, and staffing needs
- Lead thermal technicians and review completed work
- Maintain lab procedures, equipment maintenance, calibration, and safe operating practices
- Plan future lab capabilities, equipment, and infrastructure
- Assist with cooling-loop installation, integration, and commissioning
- Assemble thermal test vehicles, including PCB wiring and soldering
- Commission CDUs and liquid-cooled racks
- Assist with thermal lab design and buildout in Taiwan
