About the Role
You will manage manufacturing test programs from architecture and strategy through factory deployment, production ramp, and yield optimization. You will coordinate engineering and manufacturing teams, track test readiness and factory metrics, resolve issues, communicate program risks, and support manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hardware test engineering experience and transition into technical program management
- Background in electrical, systems, validation, or test engineering with NPI and production program leadership
- Experience managing manufacturing test programs from development through production
- Understanding of EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp
- Experience working with hardware, firmware, software, validation, and manufacturing engineering teams
- Experience with contract manufacturers, FATP partners, or ODM/OEM organizations
- Understanding of test coverage, station architecture, fixture development, automation, yield analysis, and failure diagnostics
- Cross-functional program management and communication skills
- Willingness to work in person in San Jose and travel internationally
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing test programs through prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production
- Define manufacturing test strategy, milestones, and deliverables with engineering teams
- Coordinate board-level, subsystem, and system-level test solutions
- Ensure test hardware, software, fixtures, automation, and infrastructure support production milestones
- Deploy, validate, and scale test processes with manufacturing partners
- Track test readiness, station bring-up, throughput, capacity, coverage, and factory deployment
- Lead resolution of manufacturing test issues
- Improve test yield, failure analysis, retest reduction, and factory processes
- Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Travel to manufacturing partners to support production readiness and factory bring-up
