About the Role
You will lead the development of a high-performance exchange platform, bridging technical execution and strategic leadership. You will design and implement robust microservices-based Java applications, write scalable and efficient code, and manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production deployment. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers. You will foster cross-cultural relationships supporting global expansion, ensure compliance with local regulations, integrate KYC and fiat transaction processes, and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks for building microservices-based applications
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers
- Strong knowledge of databases, including MySQL and NoSQL (e.g., Redis)
- Familiarity with middleware (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API design
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with system performance optimization is a plus
- Proficient in Java and development practices tailored for blockchain-based applications
- Proven ability to conceptualize and execute strategic technology initiatives
- Extensive experience leading, building, and scaling high-performing tech teams in fast-paced startup environments
- Expertise in designing robust tech solutions that ensure operational efficiency, security, and scalability
- In-depth understanding of security challenges and risks in the crypto industry
- Proficient in spoken English; Mandarin speaking and listening skills are a strong plus
