About the Role
You will own documentation for product features from discovery through launch and ongoing maintenance. You will test features, write and verify documentation, use reader and support data to prioritize improvements, and identify confusing or broken product experiences before launch. You will document enterprise capabilities, improve API and MCP references, and automate manual documentation checks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience documenting software products
- Experience using AI for research, drafting, and checking
- Ability to test documented features and identify broken or confusing experiences
- Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Git, Markdown, and pull requests
- Ability to ask engineers and product managers specific questions
- English writing proficiency
Responsibilities
- Identify upcoming feature releases and ensure documentation is ready on launch day
- Investigate features through the product and source code
- Write, test, verify, publish, and maintain product documentation
- Use documentation, assistant, and support data to prioritize new content
- Identify and help resolve confusing labels and broken product steps before launch
- Write documentation for non-technical builders, developers, and AI agents
- Document enterprise topics including identity and access, governance, audit, and data residency
- Improve API and MCP references
