About the Role
You will serve as a technical escalation point for real-time hardware and software fleet issues, identify root causes, and build internal troubleshooting tools. You will own support procedures, runbooks, and knowledge bases; improve triage and escalation workflows; mentor engineers and technicians; and communicate incidents and operational guidance to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, or C++
- 5+ years of Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience mentoring technical staff
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to make engineering and operational decisions in a safety-critical environment
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software fleet issues
- Partner with engineering teams to drive issues to root cause
- Design, build, deploy, and support internal troubleshooting tools
- Own troubleshooting procedures, runbooks, and the knowledge base
