About the Role
You will source, negotiate, and expedite electrical commodities and critical components for new-product introduction and production. You will manage purchase orders, supplier performance, BOM costs, and cost reporting. You will qualify suppliers, reduce lead times, and strengthen the manufacturing subcontract supply chain.
Requirements
- Technical or electronics background
- Experience sourcing EE components
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical subject
- Experience applying budgeting and cost-control techniques
- Knowledge of cost management and purchase-price-variance tracking
- Experience managing complex multi-layer BOMs
- Experience with ERP systems
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
