About the Role
You design and roll out complex multi-region cloud applications, provide architectural expertise to development and infrastructure teams, review designs for production readiness, communicate technical roadmaps, and define standards for disaster recovery, scalability, and security across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years focused on public cloud architecture
- Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Expert proficiency in Angular
- Understanding of asynchronous programming
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or Pub-Sub
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and rollout of multi-region cloud applications
- Serve as a subject matter expert for software development and infrastructure teams
- Resolve critical design bottlenecks
- Size architectural efforts
- Review design documents for production readiness
- Communicate technical roadmaps to technology and business leadership
- Validate architectural decisions
- Define and enforce development lifecycle standards for disaster recovery, scalability, and security
