About the Role
You will lead cross-functional technical programs that drive the development, integration, and delivery of secure, scalable financial technology solutions. You will manage projects across product and engineering teams, coordinate Engineering, Product, Compliance, Risk, Security, Operations, and external partners, facilitate technical and business discussions, establish governance and reporting processes, monitor program performance, support production deployments and release cycles, and collaborate with vendors, financial institutions, and technology partners.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management
- 2+ years of experience supporting fintech initiatives such as banking, payments, trading, or other financial services
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience managing large-scale technical projects involving distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms
- General knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks such as KYC, AML, Customer Risk Rating, and Watchlists
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Experience with embedded finance, financial APIs, crypto, or trading and brokerages
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data security, fraud prevention, and risk management practices
- PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile certification
- Experience working in high-growth startups or fast-paced fintech environments
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and programs across product and engineering teams
- Monitor scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Compliance, Risk, Security, Operations, and external partners
- Facilitate technical and business discussions and document decisions
- Establish governance processes, status reporting, and executive communications
- Monitor program performance using KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
- Support production deployments, change management, breaking changes, and related communications
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, financial institutions, and technology partners
