About the Role

You will own integrated plans for electrical equipment product lines from requirements through design release. You will run design reviews, coordinate manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and suppliers, control configurations and changes, manage risks and spend, and report program status to leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of technical program management for in-house designed and manufactured electrical or electromechanical hardware
  • Experience taking a hardware product from concept through design release and first production lot
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing and configuration management
  • Knowledge of bills of materials, drawing packages, and test procedures
  • Ability to read electrical single-lines, equipment schedules, and mechanical drawings
  • Experience managing component suppliers and sub-supplier qualification
  • Ability to write concise executive-ready program status

Responsibilities

  • Own integrated product plans from requirements through design release
  • Run concept, preliminary, and critical design reviews and close actions
  • Coordinate manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain for manufacturable releases
  • Track long-lead components, supplier qualification, and second sourcing
  • Maintain controlled specifications, drawings, and change requests
  • Report program status, risks, and spend to engineering leadership
