About the Role
You will lead end-to-end technical delivery for UK public-sector and defence customers, translate government requirements into engineering plans, manage procurement and delivery risks, communicate with stakeholders, and coordinate secure AI deployments across technical teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of customer-facing technical or engineering program management experience
- Experience in AI/ML consulting, technology transformation, or enterprise software delivery
- Experience with government, defence, or regulated customers
- Experience managing compliance-heavy, multi-stakeholder programs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Understanding of cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and air-gapped architectures
- Knowledge of LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, RAG, fine-tuning, evaluations, and responsible AI
- Knowledge of API integration, model inference, data pipelines, and ML operations
- Eligibility for UK government security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical program delivery for public-sector and defence customers
- Serve as the primary technical program contact for government customers
- Translate government requirements into engineering plans
- Navigate procurement processes, RFP responses, and contractual obligations
- Communicate with engineering, customer, and government stakeholders
- Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and approvals
- Coordinate secure AI delivery across technical teams
- Establish governance checkpoints
- Resolve challenges in air-gapped, on-premises, and regulated environments
