About the Role
You will lead technical solution and architecture discussions, set engineering standards, and guide modernization and refactoring work. You will build scalable end-to-end software, own production issue triage, strengthen testing and code reviews, improve developer workflows, and mentor engineers while balancing technical and business priorities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of Go experience
- 2+ years of Technical Lead experience
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
- Basic understanding of React and/or Next.js
- Basic cloud computing knowledge, preferably Google Cloud Platform
Responsibilities
- Lead discussions on technical solutions and architecture
- Influence technical decisions and establish engineering standards
- Lead refactoring and modernization efforts while meeting delivery timelines
- Identify and prioritize technical debt
- Collaborate with product and engineering leads to balance business and technical priorities
- Build and deliver end-to-end software solutions
- Own production issues and define triage and resolution processes
- Implement test coverage and uphold code review standards
- Improve developer tools, processes, and workflows
- Guide, mentor, and inspire engineers
