About the Role
You will own hardware, inventory, maintenance, and technical support for the data-operations floor. You will receive, assemble, calibrate, deploy, and maintain capture equipment; troubleshoot failures; manage escalations and RMAs; run preventive maintenance; document procedures; and coach Data Creators on equipment use and capture techniques.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing electronic or electromechanical equipment
- Ability to isolate faults across hardware, wiring, firmware, and software
- Familiarity with multimeters, connectors, wiring, firmware flashing, and basic networking
- Strong maintenance, inventory, and issue-documentation discipline
- Professional English proficiency for technical documentation and engineering escalations
- Flexibility to occasionally support other shifts in a 24/7 operation
Responsibilities
- Own hardware, inventory, maintenance, and technical support for the operations floor
- Receive, inventory, deploy, and maintain capture equipment
- Build the unit inventory and asset-control system
- Assemble and calibrate capture stations
- Apply firmware and software updates
- Troubleshoot hardware and capture issues
- Document and escalate issues to hardware and engineering teams
- Manage RMAs and spare parts
- Design and run the preventive-maintenance program
- Coach Data Creators on equipment use and capture techniques
- Write and maintain technical standard operating procedures
- Train and mentor future field technicians
