About the Role
You will own product, platform, home monitoring and data as a founding technical leader. You will build the homeowner journey from bill submission through system design, funding and installation tracking. You will create installer design, quoting, lead, procurement and payment tools; deploy home monitoring; improve savings forecasts using household load data; and architect monitoring and control for future demand-response and virtual-power-plant capabilities. You will help run pilot milestones and hire and lead the engineering and product function.
Requirements
- Experience selling residential solar to Thai households or working with solar installers
- Experience building and shipping an end-to-end product, platform or app for real users
- Connected-energy or IoT experience, such as home energy management, inverter or battery monitoring, smart meters or EV charging
- Knowledge of energy data and the grid sufficient to build toward virtual power plants and demand response
- A 0-to-1 track record and experience hiring and leading an engineering team
- Thailand-based or willing to relocate
- Thai language skills strongly preferred
- Full-time commitment
Responsibilities
- Build and ship the homeowner journey from bill submission through design, funding and installation tracking
- Build installer design, quoting, lead-management, procurement and payment tools
- Select, integrate and deploy home monitoring devices
- Validate savings forecasts and improve household self-consumption
- Use hourly household load data to improve system sizing and forecasts
- Architect monitoring and control for demand response and a virtual power plant
- Support pilot growth from 10–20 homes to 100 and 1,000 homes
- Hire and lead the engineering and product team
