About the Role
Support PayPay's business growth through tax expertise, including tax audits, tax filings, tax-effect accounting under the group tax consolidation system, internal tax consultations, tax process development, international tax, transfer pricing, Pillar Two, and M&A projects.
Requirements
- Practical experience with tax filings
- Accounting knowledge equivalent to Japanese Bookkeeping Level 2
- Experience improving operations or promoting projects in accounting or tax
- A tax accountant qualification or passed subjects of the tax accountant examination is desirable
Responsibilities
- Respond to tax audits
- Prepare tax filings under the group tax consolidation system
- Handle tax-effect accounting under JGAAP and IFRS
- Respond to internal tax consultations
- Assess preferential tax measures
- Build tax-related business processes
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation
- Support Pillar Two and international tax projects
- Support M&A projects
