About the Role
You will integrate actuation systems at the robot level across design and manufacturing. You will develop calibration and validation plans, incorporate sensing into control architectures, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues, tune controllers, bring up prototypes, and build automated testing and diagnostic tools.

- 5+ years of hands-on robotic or electromechanical systems experience focused on actuation, manipulation, or integration

Responsibilities
- Deploy actuators at the robot-system level
- Develop calibration strategies and end-of-line bring-up
- Define and execute validation and production-scale test plans
- Incorporate position and torque sensing into real-time control architectures
- Develop real-time diagnostic algorithms and fall-back strategies
- Debug mechanical, electrical, and software integration issues
- Tune high-bandwidth controllers and characterize actuation performance
- Specify design-validation test plans
- Bring up prototypes and first articles
- Build scripts, dashboards, and automated test rigs
