About the Role
You will maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse equipment in a live production environment. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation failures, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document work, support technicians, and help keep systems operating safely and reliably.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 1 year of hands-on PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
- At least 1 year of VFD diagnostic experience
- At least 1 year of experience with AC and DC motors
- Experience with automated systems, including conveyors, vertical lifts, and motor-driven equipment
- Experience supporting autonomous or semi-autonomous systems, AS/RS, robotics, servo motors, or 480V systems
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Linux
- Hands-on experience assembling, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain automated systems, including conveyors, lifts, robotic vehicles, motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues that affect production
- Diagnose failures across Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control hardware
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment
- Use system data, alarms, logs, and dashboards to identify faults and recurring issues
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and findings in CMMS systems and internal tools
- Serve as a technical escalation point during disruptions and downtime
- Partner with maintenance, operations, and technical teams to restore system performance
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to technicians and operators
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, electrical safety, and safety standards
