About the Role
You will design, deploy, and operate features for an object-storage platform. You will improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability; automate deployments and configurations; handle Level 2 on-call incidents; support hardware operations; and create technical documentation and onboarding materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience operating large-scale Linux infrastructures
- Understanding of high-load distributed infrastructure
- Knowledge of hardware, networking, SSD, NVMe, RAID, Ceph, or S3 APIs
- Linux system administration experience
- Infrastructure automation experience
- Ability to read and understand Go code
- Experience with Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting
- Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate object storage platform features
- Contribute to opening new Availability Zones and Regions
- Improve storage infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Participate in the Level 2 on-call rotation and troubleshoot production incidents
- Collaborate on hardware-related operations
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using infrastructure-as-code practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and onboarding materials
