About the Role
You will lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing field execution for a data center build. You will supervise power distribution, generators, UPS, cooling systems, piping, hydronic balancing, trade coordination, commissioning prerequisites, safety controls, quality documentation, progress reporting, RFIs, test records, and as-built completion.
Requirements
- 7+ years supervising electrical or mechanical trades on data center semiconductor hospital or heavy industrial projects
- Mission-critical experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of MV and LV power distribution standby generation UPS and hydronic or liquid cooling plants
- Experience with testing and energization practices
- Experience driving Level 1-5 commissioning prerequisites and turnover documentation
- Experience sequencing trades in congested schedule-critical spaces
- Look-ahead planning and manpower-loading experience
- Safety leadership including NFPA 70E LOTO and energized-facility transitions
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Pipe cleanliness flushing and pressure-testing discipline
- Experience with Procore or ACC BIM field use and MEP drawing packages
Responsibilities
- Supervise MV and LV distribution installation
- Manage switchgear transformers generators UPS busway PDUs and branch circuits
- Enforce cable management termination torque grounding and labeling standards
- Coordinate NETA acceptance testing and energization sequencing
- Supervise cooling systems CRAH and CDU installation piping and insulation
- Manage hydronic balancing flushing pressure testing and cleanliness protocols
- Own MEP trade stacking and sequencing
- Run BIM-supported field coordination and resolve clashes
- Drive Level 1-3 commissioning prerequisites
- Support Level 4-5 commissioning execution
- Enforce NFPA 70E LOTO energized-work and hot-work controls
- Own three-week look-ahead planning progress reporting and documentation
- Resolve MEP RFIs and field issues
