About the Role
You will lead end-to-end design of complex IC substrate packages for high-power processors and accelerators. You will develop layouts, routing and power-delivery solutions, optimize CoWoS interposers, perform DRC and LVS verification, maintain documentation, and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of IC substrate layout design experience
- Experience with large substrate packages and high-density layouts
- Experience with high-power package designs and power delivery networks
- Expertise in high-speed signaling and signal-integrity challenges
- Experience with CoWoS interposer design
- Proficiency in Allegro Package Designer
- Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity principles
Responsibilities
- Lead complex IC substrate layout design for AI processors and accelerators
- Design large multilayer substrate packages with dense routing
- Ensure robust power delivery for custom silicon
- Develop high-speed signal-routing solutions
- Collaborate on signal-integrity and power-integrity requirements
- Optimize CoWoS interposer designs for thermal and electrical performance
- Perform DRC and LVS verification
- Maintain design documentation and guidelines
- Support design reviews and guide junior team members
