About the Role

You will investigate complex customer situations and assess money-laundering, sanctions, and other regulatory risks. You will review relationships and transactions, document findings, clarify open matters with customers, and support compliance processes and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Completed banking or insurance apprenticeship and ongoing bachelor's studies in business administration or law.
  • Professional experience in financial services or compliance.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation-level written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex customer situations and assess money-laundering, sanctions, and regulatory risks.
  • Clarify open matters with customers and obtain missing information.
  • Review risk-related business relationships and transactions.
  • Document assessments in reports for internal decisions and regulatory evidence.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Review AIA and FATCA requirements and customer documentation.
  • Advise customers, customer advisers, and internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to process and standards improvements.
