About the Role

You will review customer deals, assess business models and use cases, conduct risk-based diligence, document decisions, and track compliance obligations. You will create compliance playbooks and reporting, advise GTM stakeholders, and improve processes for regulated customer segments.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, operations, or a related function.
  • Experience conducting risk-based customer, partner, onboarding, or deal-level reviews.
  • Ability to translate regulatory and policy requirements into actionable business guidance.
  • Ability to assess ambiguous situations and recommend compliance mitigations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with GTM, legal, product, and operations stakeholders.
  • Project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer deals for regulatory, licensing, and policy risk.
  • Conduct onboarding and enhanced diligence for higher-risk customers and use cases.
  • Identify compliance requirements and develop risk mitigations or approval conditions.
  • Document compliance decisions, conditions, and escalations.
  • Track onboarding conditions, approvals, renewals, and post-deal obligations.
  • Research regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Develop compliance playbooks, risk-tiering frameworks, and escalation paths.
  • Improve policies, controls, tooling, training, and customer guidance.
  • Provide compliance training and office-hours support to GTM teams.
  • Build reporting and metrics on compliance reviews and outcomes.
