About the Role
You will develop financial models that link token economics, inference and compute costs, margins, pricing, packaging, and product tiers. You will operate and improve billing processes, analyze complex deal scenarios, assess unit economics, and build scalable controls and documentation for pricing and billing.
Requirements
- Background in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, strategic finance, product finance, venture capital, or a comparably rigorous analytical role
- Proficiency in spreadsheet-based financial modeling
- Ability to independently own workstreams from question to decision
- Experience working with systems and data, including billing configurations, usage dashboards, or SQL queries
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance audiences
- Interest in AI and model and compute economics
- Direct experience with pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy is preferred
- Experience with usage-based, API, developer-platform, or consumption-based pricing is preferred
- Experience with Orb, Metronome, Stripe Billing, or equivalent billing operations is preferred
Responsibilities
- Own inference-pricing economics and build financial models for token economics, costs, margins, pricing, packaging, and tiering
- Drive billing operations, including provisioning, credits, overages, reconciliation, and system improvements
- Model usage and product-feature scenarios for complex deals and recommend pricing approaches
- Evaluate pricing, packaging, model launches, and consumption-based offerings with Product, Engineering, and GTM
- Analyze unit economics and gross-margin drivers
- Build documentation, controls, and automation for pricing and billing
- Align pricing and billing decisions with Finance, FP&A, and Accounting
