About the Role

You will shape how motion appears across MetaMask, from interaction details to larger expressive moments. You will define a shared motion language, build scalable patterns and reusable assets, create prototypes, and collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver polished, high-performing motion in the product.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience using motion in digital products
• Experience using animation and interaction to simplify complex experiences
• Ability to define consistent motion languages and patterns
• Experience building scalable motion guidelines, reusable assets, or components
• Experience collaborating with engineers to bring motion into production
• Prototyping skills
• Ability to balance clarity and delight in motion design
• Ability to contribute through feedback, collaboration, and hands-on work
• Ability to complete employment, education, and criminal-record background checks

Responsibilities

• Use motion to help users understand product changes and next steps
• Define a shared motion language across product surfaces
• Build reusable motion patterns, guidelines, and assets
• Introduce valuable moments of delight without disrupting usability
• Partner with product designers and engineers to implement motion
• Create prototypes to explore and communicate interaction ideas
• Contribute feedback and hands-on craft improvements
