About the Role
You will lead the design, development, automation, and reporting of integration and system tests across firmware and device drivers. You will define test strategy, build test coverage, debug cross-layer issues, review code, improve validation infrastructure and CI/CD, lead corrective actions, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Experience in low-level system testing and integration
- Understanding of RTOS, boot logic, Linux, and device drivers
- Python
- C/C++
- Experience with hardware, debuggers, CI/CD pipelines, and build or integration tools
- Ability to debug cross-layer issues and drive root-cause investigations
- Communication, mentoring, and technical documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Own multiple test features and infrastructure
- Define test strategy
- Design and develop tests for complex multi-component areas
- Design and implement test plans
- Triages and debug bugs
- Review and improve code, test design, and implementation processes
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams on test plans
- Develop integration and acceptance tests
- Contribute to validation frameworks, CI/CD, automation, and packaging
- Lead design decisions
- Drive root cause and corrective actions
