About the Role
You will design, implement, and test C and C++ firmware for critical robot components. You will develop Python tools for test automation or calibration, contribute to CI/CD infrastructure, and support hardware-software integration and testing in the lab.
Requirements
- Senior undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Availability for a minimum 10-week internship, with one to two terms preferred
- Fluency in C, C++, and Python
- Experience implementing low-level software on bare-metal systems and RTOS
- Knowledge of computer architecture
- Understanding of Ethernet, Ethercat, Serial, CAN, or USB communication protocols
- Comfort using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit debugging tools
- Experience with motor controllers or battery management systems
- Experience taking projects from conception to fleet-wide rollout
