About the Role

You will architect and implement privacy-preserving training and inference systems at scale. You will build data governance and privacy infrastructure, translate privacy regulations into technical controls, lead privacy reviews and threat modeling, and develop tools that help engineers build privacy-preserving features.

Requirements

• Apply privacy engineering principles including privacy by design, data minimization, and purpose limitation
• Build and operate production systems at scale using Python, Go, or similar languages
• Design and implement privacy infrastructure for large user bases
• Work with data governance, classification, or data lifecycle management systems
• Understand GDPR and CCPA and translate legal requirements into technical designs
• Conduct privacy reviews, threat modeling, or risk assessments
• Communicate effectively across engineering, research, legal, and product teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement privacy-preserving architectures for AI training and inference systems
• Implement privacy-preserving training methods with researchers
• Build data discovery, classification, access-control, audit-logging, and lifecycle-management infrastructure
• Translate privacy regulations into technical implementations and automated compliance controls
• Architect data governance systems for lineage, purpose limitation, and retention
• Lead privacy reviews and threat modeling
• Embed privacy controls into inference systems, user interfaces, and data pipelines
• Develop privacy engineering toolkits and frameworks
• Design privacy-preserving analytics systems
• Evaluate emerging privacy technologies and contribute to privacy tooling and standards
• Advise on privacy practices for AI safety
