About the Role
You will take financial-partner integrations from scoping through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation. You will own technical relationships with billing, payment, tax, compliance, KYC, and risk partners; build commerce-protocol integrations; create reusable monetization abstractions; and improve observability, reconciliation, incident response, and auditability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Backend engineering expertise
- Experience integrating an external financial-partner platform through go-live and steady-state operation
- Experience delivering and operating zero-to-one integrations
- System-design expertise in high-correctness financial domains
- Knowledge of idempotency, retries, reconciliation, and observability
- Debugging experience with external systems and partner APIs
Responsibilities
- Take financial-partner integrations from scoping through operation
- Own technical relationships with financial partners
- Build and maintain agentic-commerce protocol integrations
- Design reusable monetization abstractions and versioned interfaces
- Build observability, reconciliation, and incident-response capabilities for partner flows
- Lead partner-side incident response and post-incident hardening
- Represent Replit in partner technical reviews
- Partner with finance, accounting, data, legal, and business development on auditable integrations
