Skills

About the Role

You will pioneer and scale Ripple Treasury's core liquidity management platform, working alongside a small, hardworking team to rebuild treasury software from the ground up. You'll drive architectural decisions, establish technical standards, and lead design reviews that elevate the team's engineering practices. You'll mentor mid-level and senior engineers, break down ambiguous problems into actionable work, and champion best practices around observability, incident response, and production excellence. You'll partner with Product and Customer Success teams, collaborate across distributed teams in Ireland, the U.S., the Philippines, and Australia, and help shape the product roadmap. You'll build API integrations with major ERPs and banking systems, develop machine learning models that predict cash flows and detect anomalies, design flexible worksheet engines for cash flow modeling, optimize performance for billions of dollars in daily transactions, and create dashboards and alerting systems for covenant compliance and variance monitoring. You'll own critical systems end-to-end, take responsibility for production reliability, and make tough technical trade-off decisions while communicating your reasoning clearly.
