About the Role

You will design and operate a data intelligence platform for business and product metrics. You will develop infrastructure and tooling, build reliable data pipelines, lead long-term technical vision with engineering partners, balance data protection with sharing, and represent the role at industry and academic events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
  • 4+ years of technical leadership experience on large-scale production data systems
  • Experience leading architecture efforts for performance-sensitive systems
  • Strong communication skills in fast-paced cross-functional environments
  • Ability to align engineering execution with long-term product and company goals
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineers

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate the cross-company Data Intelligence Platform
  • Develop tooling and infrastructure for large-scale multi-cloud data operations
  • Build CI/CD processes, pipeline test frameworks, data-quality tooling, and infrastructure-as-code tooling
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop long-term product vision and requirements
  • Build reliable data pipelines and solve data problems using Databricks, partner products, and open-source tools
  • Provide product design and operations feedback
  • Represent the role at academic and industrial conferences and events
