About the Role
You will build production systems for capacity planning, allocation, utilization, cost attribution, and forecasting. You will create telemetry pipelines and observability tools, operate Kubernetes-native systems, reconcile multi-cloud billing data, and build data products for technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating production systems
- Production-quality Python and SQL
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure operations
- Experience with Prometheus, PromQL, and Grafana
- Ability to gather requirements and work across organizational boundaries in an ambiguous environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Build capacity planning and allocation tools
- Drive utilization and efficiency programs
- Own cost attribution and demand forecasting
- Build telemetry, utilization, and cost pipelines into BigQuery
- Operate Kubernetes-native collection, labeling, and scheduling systems
- Build observability, cluster health, and alerting tooling
- Define schema contracts and data products for technical and business consumers
- Operate load-bearing systems with on-call ownership and SLOs
