About the Role
You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure and deployments with Puppet and infrastructure-as-code tools, and monitor Node.js applications and microservices. You will improve hybrid-cloud resilience, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, and maintain telemetry, logging, and alerting for production systems.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information technology, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or system engineering in a high-availability environment.
- Hands-on experience with Puppet.
- Software development, scripting, Node.js, and shell-scripting experience.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Linux or Unix system-administration, networking-protocol, and security knowledge.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using Puppet and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability for Node.js applications and microservices.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
- Improve scalability, resilience, and disaster-recovery capabilities across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Lead incident response, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain telemetry, logging, and alerting systems for production observability.
