About the Role

You will design, build, and own core components and subsystems for Stellar Core. You will develop scalable technologies, investigate and refactor performance bottlenecks, write maintainable code, contribute to architecture and code reviews, and author technical feature and protocol specifications.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience on a team
BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field
Production experience with modern C++ or Rust
Technical communication and leadership in design and code review discussions
Knowledge of software design patterns and reusable, extensible, modular component design
Knowledge of development best practices and tools
Performance debugging and benchmarking

Responsibilities

Design and build key components of Stellar Core
Design and develop robust, scalable, and extensible technologies
Collaborate on new architectures and subsystems
Write clean, maintainable code with edge-case analysis
Own core subsystems and help deliver critical product milestones
Contribute to code reviews, design, and engineering best practices
Investigate and refactor performance bottlenecks
Author technical feature and protocol specifications
