About the Role

You will own critical identity and access systems from design through rollout, operations, and iteration. You will define technical direction for authentication, authorization, identity, and enterprise integrations; build resilient multi-region services; and lead migrations of high-traffic systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years building and operating backend or platform systems at scale
• Experience with identity, authentication, authorization, or security-adjacent infrastructure
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWTs, token exchange, workload identity federation, policy engines, RBAC, or resource-level access control
• Experience designing reliable and secure production systems
• Experience owning large migrations in live high-traffic systems
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience

Responsibilities

• Own critical high-traffic identity and access systems end to end
• Design credentials for agents and long-running autonomous workloads
• Route access decisions through a unified authorization system
• Build identity models for service accounts and agents
• Design global distribution and multi-region failover
• Deepen enterprise identity integrations and administrative controls
• Set technical direction and lead system migrations
