About the Role
You will lead the design and implementation of identity, authorization, and credential systems. You will build low-latency permission checks, secure enterprise access workflows, governance controls, and operational practices while mentoring others as the function grows.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years building production backend systems
- Experience designing and implementing product authorization systems with fine-grained permissions or policy engines
- End-to-end ownership from system design through production rollout and iteration
- Experience operating multi-tenant systems at scale with authorization in the request path
- Experience working across application code, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Lead identity and authorization projects from definition through launch and iteration
- Design extensible authorization and credential models
- Translate enterprise security requirements into durable technical solutions
- Establish engineering practices for quality, security, observability, and operational ownership
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
