About the Role
You will define system hardware requirements and design power, memory, and interconnect circuits. You will develop system models and simulations, review PCB layouts, validate boards and systems in the laboratory, lead cross-functional integration, support manufacturing, and evaluate components and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of system-level electrical design experience
- Schematic design using Cadence, Mentor, or Altium
- VRMs
- High-speed SERDES

- 5+ years of laboratory experimentation and circuit debugging
- Thermal solutions for integrated circuits and board-level systems

Responsibilities
- Define system-level hardware requirements and specifications
- Design power, memory, and interconnect circuits
- Identify electrical and optical components
- Develop conceptual designs, physical models, and simulations
- Review PCB layouts and define electrical constraints
- Ensure board and system manufacturability
- Qualify chip and system electrical properties
- Perform laboratory validation of boards and systems
- Lead cross-functional integration
- Support contract manufacturing
- Work with component vendors and supply partners
- Research components, processes, and technologies
