About the Role
You will act as the technical interface for ODM, OEM, manufacturing and component partners. You will guide hardware integration and bring-up, support production ramps, investigate defects, qualify components, validate board revisions, and document test and qualification outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on electronic hardware engineering experience.
- Experience with embedded or system-level PCB design.
- Knowledge of PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART and LPDDR.
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers and JTAG debuggers.
- Ability to read and annotate schematics and PCB layouts.
- Experience integrating add-in cards or modules into OEM or ODM platforms.
- Knowledge of mechanical, thermal, EMC and ESD considerations.
- Linux installation and configuration experience.
- Experience with EMS or CM processes and production failure analysis.
- Experience supporting an MPI, EVT, DVT or PVT cycle.
Responsibilities
- Support ODM and OEM integration of accelerator cards, modules and AI SBCs.
- Guide hardware compatibility, power, cooling, mechanical and BIOS or firmware configuration.
- Support operating system, driver, SDK and inference validation during partner bring-up.
- Create and maintain integration guides, application notes and FAQs.
- Support contract manufacturers during production introduction, inspection and pilot runs.
- Validate production test procedures and escalate deviations.
- Investigate production defects and drive root-cause analysis.
- Track corrective and preventive actions through closure.
- Coordinate component qualification and field-anomaly investigations with suppliers.
- Characterize power-related issues and communicate findings.
- Evaluate BOM alternatives and provide electrical equivalency data.
- Perform bring-up, testing and regression validation for hardware revisions.
- Document qualification results, test reports and design deviations.
