About the Role
You will provide technical leadership for robotic automation systems, from design and integration through validation and deployment. You will guide technical direction, align partner work, troubleshoot full-stack systems, develop scalable software and fleet coordination, lead R&D transitions into production, and document engineering decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in automation or equipment engineering
- Experience with mechatronic subsystems and modular machine design
- Experience deploying robotic or automated systems to production or the field
- Experience with material handling systems or productionized robotic solutions
- Familiarity with 3D localization or VLM-based object detection
- FAT/SAT validation experience
- PLC logic
- C# or Python
- Experience with mechanical and electrical hardware
- ROS or ROS 2
- IsaacSIM
- Understanding of perception, localization, mapping, planning, or control
- Technical leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction for robotics automation problems
- Align engineering and partner teams on scalable autonomy capabilities
- Guide and mentor engineers and partners
- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and milestone delivery
- Establish verification and validation processes
- Troubleshoot software, controls, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Iterate on end effectors, hardware interfaces, and robotic subsystems
- Build scalable software infrastructure and fleet coordination protocols
- Lead R&D feasibility studies into production-ready systems
- Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies
- Produce technical documentation
