About the Role
You will design, specify, test, and validate components in the grid-to-chip power chain. You will build test environments and fixtures, prototype power-conversion hardware, resolve power hardware and firmware issues, support production transitions, and guide manufacturers on validation procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of power electronics
- Experience in power system and delivery architecture, design, and development
- Experience testing high-voltage and high-power systems
- Power hardware and firmware development and debugging
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and specification of grid-to-chip power components and systems
- Build test environments and perform engineering test and validation
- Design test hardware, fixtures, loads, and devices for simulated loading conditions
- Design and prototype power-conversion hardware
- Support the transition of system designs into manufacturing and production
- Ensure IT power robustness during grid disturbances
- Guide manufacturers and engineering teams on testing and validation procedures
- Resolve complex power hardware and firmware issues
