About the Role
You will build and maintain software for device bring-up, characterization, and production testing across bench and automated-test-equipment environments. You will develop test methods, instrument-control code, and test-data pipelines; debug hardware and software integration issues; support test-program releases; and work hands-on in the lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in hardware test software, ATE systems, or test architecture
- Experience owning test software architecture for a product line
- Hands-on experience with ATE test-method or test-flow development or embedded test frameworks
- Fluency with instrumentation automation using SCPI, VISA, or equivalent
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional technical decisions
- Ability to scope, plan, implement, and validate automation projects
- Ability to read and reason about embedded C/C++, controls, or firmware
- Capacity to comply with federally mandated U.S. export control laws
Responsibilities
- Learn the hardware well enough to make informed software decisions
- Design and build test software for device bring-up, characterization, and production testing
- Develop and maintain test methods, test flows, and instrument-control code
- Translate hardware test requirements into repeatable test software
- Build and maintain test-data logging and results pipelines
- Debug test hardware and software integration issues
- Support test-program releases to internal test cells and external test facilities
- Communicate progress and blockers and work hands-on with lab hardware
