About the Role
You will define and operate large-scale InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabrics supporting AI workloads. You will lead automation, security, observability, incident response, and configuration management. You will set architectural standards, partner on site delivery, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience in HPC, AI, hyperscale, or large-scale data center environments
- Experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA-aware networking, OpenSM, UFM, and fabric orchestration
- Expert knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, and Clos or spine-leaf architectures
- Production experience with Cumulus, Nokia, or Arista EOS
- Network automation expertise with Python, Ansible, Git, Terraform, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Juniper SRX or Palo Alto firewall platforms
- Experience with network telemetry and observability
- Experience leading technical decisions and incidents
- Communication and mentoring skills
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabric architectures
- Set direction for BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, LACP, and QoS
- Design perimeter security infrastructure including firewalls, NAT, and VPN
- Lead network automation with Python, Ansible, GitOps, and CI/CD
- Lead escalations and root-cause analysis
- Set direction for telemetry, monitoring, and alerting
- Maintain network inventory and configuration data
- Partner on site delivery and platform evolution
- Mentor engineers through reviews, incident leadership, and documentation
- Identify architectural risks and drive durable solutions
