About the Role
You will lead manufacturing engineering across NPI development and volume production for complex hardware products. You will connect design, test, quality, and supply-chain decisions to manufacturing outcomes, provide DfM feedback, work with contract manufacturers, analyse production data, improve yield, resolve L6 issues, and travel to Taiwan to work with suppliers.
Requirements
- Strong fault diagnosis, problem-solving, and failure-analysis skills, including ICT to SMT debug
- Thorough understanding of automated surface-mount assembly processes and manufacturing methodologies
- Working knowledge of L10 mechanical design and system build, ideally for HPC products
- Ability to connect silicon, package, and PCB interactions into clear DfM feedback
- Experience with statistical analysis tools including JMP, SQL, and Python
- Experience using continuous-improvement methods including SPC and DOE
- Strong interpersonal skills for supplier-facing, cross-functional, and cross-regional engineering work
- Extensive experience in a similar manufacturing-facing role
- Legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
